Azerbaijan spent over AZN 2 bln. on construction works liberated districts in IH2024

During January-June 2024, 2,056,358,000 AZN were spent on construction and installation works in the liberated districts of Azerbaijan, according to calculations made by APA-Economics based on the report of the State Statistics Committee.

The volume of this indicator is 22.8% or 381,790,000 AZN more compared to the same period last year. During January-June of 2023, 1,674,568,000 AZN were allocated for construction and installation works in the liberated districts.

Recall that during the reporting period, the largest amounts were allocated to the Kalbajar (438,500,000 AZN), Aghdam (308,500,000 AZN), and Lachin (242,400,000 AZN) districts.

Note that the funds spent on construction and installation works during this period increased by 649 times in Khojaly, 2.6 times in Gubadli, 2.3 times in Aghdam, and 52% in Shusha compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
