"An airport is being built in the Alat Free Economic Zone," said Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Board of Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) during the international conference "Pharmaceutical Industry of Azerbaijan: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow" held in Baku, APA reports.
He emphasized that the Alat Free Economic Zone is located at the crossroads of international transport corridors: “Our initial plan was for the airport to be used exclusively for cargo transport, but the decision has now changed. After the airport is completed, our investors will be provided with highly favorable conditions.”
