Regular routes are currently operating in 11 different directions for the return of the population to the liberated territories, restoration and reconstruction works, as well as in accordance with demand and the existing road infrastructure, Rahman Hummatov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport and head of the Working Group on Transport, Communications, and High Technologies under the Interagency Center of the Coordination Headquarters, said during a meeting held in Aghdam, APA reports.
He noted that approximately 85,000 passengers have been transported to the liberated territories so far:
“Using the ‘Our Road to Karabakh’ portal (www.yolumuzqarabaga.az), nearly 1,463,000 requests for travel by private vehicles have been approved to date. In addition to the existing directions to the cities of Shusha and Lachin, as well as the settlement of Sugovushan, since May 20 of this year, citizens have also been able to travel by private vehicles to Aghdam, Agdere, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Khankendi, Khojaly, Khojavend, and Zangilan districts through this portal.”
