The Embassy of Iran in Azerbaijan told APA that the embassy contacted the hospital administration.
The hospital refused the media reports and stated that discount was made for Emil’s operation and he was handed over to his family after the operation: “Emil has no health problems now.”
Media reported that Emil Malikov was held hostage ad Tabriz Shahid Madani Hospital, because the hospital demanded extra money for his heart surgery and the parents couldn’t pay the money, which had not been agreed with them initially.
