Two people have gone missing in Armenia’s border region with Azerbaijan, APA reports citing the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia.
According to the report, residents of Tegh (Dyg) village in the Syunik (Zangezur) region — Karen Jangiryan (born in 2007) and Andrey Gyaguns (born in 2008) — went missing around 01:20 on June 6 in the area of Aravus village.
The Armenian NSS suspects that they may have lost their way and crossed into Azerbaijani territory.
The report states that necessary measures are being taken to locate and return the youths.
No statement has yet been issued by Azerbaijan regarding the incident.
