The captain of the Taiwanese Eva Airways flight from Bangkok to Vienna sent a request to Heydar Aliyev International Airport for an emergency landing, AZAL told APA.
The reason was a sudden deterioration in the health of one of the passengers on board.
The Boeing 787 aircraft landed at Baku Airport at 06:49 local time.
The medical personnel confirmed the absence of a pulse in the passenger and immediately began providing the necessary assistance. However, despite all efforts, unfortunately, it was not possible to save the passenger's life.
