5 more persons who were wanted internationally were extradited to Azerbaijan, the Press Service of the General Prosecutor's Office has released information, APA reports.
The petitions of the General Prosecutor's Office on the extradition of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hasanov Elvin Valeh, Javadov Emin Seyfulla, Masimov Zabit Jafar, Mammadov Ali Teymur and Suleymanov Mikayil Fikret were granted by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation.
The mentioned persons were detained in the territory of the Russian Federation and brought to Azerbaijan on May 8 accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
