A passenger bus operating on the Zaqatala–Baku route was involved in a traffic accident, APA’s Northwest bureau reports.
The incident occurred during the night hours on the Yevlakh–Zagatala–Georgia border highway, near the village of Khanabad in Yevlakh district.
As a result of the accident, eight passengers sustained injuries and were taken to the Emergency Department of the Sheki District Central Hospital.
All individuals received necessary first aid at the hospital. As their injuries were minor, they were discharged with outpatient treatment recommendations.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
