A call was received by the Republican Center for Emergency and Urgent Medical Care at around 22:30 on April 18 from a catering facility located in the Khatai district, said TABIB in response to an inquiry by APA.
Emergency medical teams were dispatched to the location of the call.
At various times, a total of 36 people with suspected poisoning were hospitalized via emergency medical teams: 25 people to the Clinical Medical Center, 10 people to the Sabunchu Medical Center, and 1 person to the Sabunchu Children’s Infectious Diseases Hospital under the Republican Pediatric Center.
Additionally, 7 people directly approached the Clinical Medical Center, and 8 people went to the Sabunchu Medical Center.
Each of them received the necessary medical care for a diagnosis of unspecified bacterial food poisoning. All individuals, whose conditions were assessed as satisfactory, have already been discharged for outpatient treatment.

On April 19, 2025, 32 people (23 females, 9 males) were admitted to the Emergency and Urgent Medical Care Department of the Clinical Medical Center with a diagnosis of unspecified bacterial food poisoning, the Clinical Medical Center said in response to APA’s inquiry.
Patients were immediately provided with medical services, their stomachs were washed, and they were examined by an infectious disease specialist. After receiving the necessary medical care, all of them were discharged and sent home.

Last night, a mass poisoning incident took place in the capital, Baku, APA reports.
The poisoning is said to have taken place at a banquet hall.
According to information provided by TABIB, 25 people's poisoning were recorded during the incident.
The victims were taken to the Clinical Medical Center. It is still unknown exactly which food caused the poisoning.
