Internationally wanted person was extradited to Azerbaijan

Another internationally wanted person was extradited to our country, the General Prosecutor's Office told APA.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the petition of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the extradition of Hasanov Alyar Ahmed oglu, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in accordance with the requirements of the Convention dated 07.10.2002 "On legal assistance and legal relations in civil, family and criminal cases" Provided by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic.

Since there were reasonable suspicions that Alyar Hasanov had committed the crime of theft by causing a large amount of damage, a decision was made to involve him as an accused person and he was put on an international search for escaping from the investigation and hiding.

On February 10, the person was brought from Kazakhstan to our country, accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
