In preparation for the International Search and Rescue Team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan to pass the classification of the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA), a continuous special tactical training was held for 36 hours in the territory of Turkan and Hovsan settlements of Baku with the participation of the personnel of the Ministry's International Search and Rescue Team, emergency volunteers, employees of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) and specialists of the Türkiye Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the Ministry told APA.
According to the report, during the training, certificates were presented to the emergency volunteers who successfully participated in the "disaster area" as a victim, media, representative of the local government agency, etc. The goals set in the tactical-special training were achieved.
