Due to an explosion that occurred in the city of Sumgayit, five male individuals were hospitalized at the Emergency Medical Aid Hospital under the Sumgayit Medical Center at around 12:20 PM on May 20, said TABIB in response to APA's inquiry.
"Necessary medical services were provided to the individuals who sustained various degrees of burn injuries. Three individuals, whose condition is assessed as serious, are being transferred to the Burn Center under the Narimanov Medical Center. The treatment of the other two is ongoing in the relevant department, and their condition is considered moderately serious," the statement said.
