The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has received report on a fire in the direction of Gubadli district, the villages of Mirler, Goyyal, Hartiz and Selali, the press service of the Ministry told APA.
According to the information, the relevant forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately involved on the call.
While assessing the operational conditions at the scene, it was determined that the fire took place in an open area consisting mainly of bushes and dry grass, and that there was a high risk of fire spreading to the nearby forest strip.
Thanks to the necessary and urgent measures taken by the firefighters, the fire was extinguished without allowing it to spread to a large area, including Omar Fayed.
