A court trial was held in the Sabail District Court of Baku regarding the selection of a preventive measure of arrest based on the investigator's motion and the prosecutor's presentation regarding Najimov Ruslan Rafiq oglu, who was arrested in connection with a criminal case conducted by the State Security Service (STS), APA reports.
Ruslan Rafig Najimov, born on June 8, 1987, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who is suspected of committing terrorist-related criminal acts as part of a stable armed group, was found to have tried to hide under various names in foreign countries.
As a result of the complex operational-search measures carried out by the SSS, Ruslan Najimov, who was detained abroad, was brought to the country on April 15, 2025, to be involved in the investigation.
By the court's decision, a measure of restraint in the form of detention for 4 months was selected for Ruslan Najimov.
