Through the measures taken from August 31 to September 6, police officers seized 11 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 4 pistols, 6 rifles, 11 grenades, 1 grenade launcher, 3 detonators, 4 bayonets, 200 ammunition magazines, 9,786 rounds of various calibers, and other munitions in the Khankandi area, 1 automatic rifle in the Shusha area, and 18 shells in the Khojaly district, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan told APA.
The Ministry noted that the process of identifying and neutralizing war remnants and sources of danger continues without interruption.
"The task of cleaning the region from weapons and explosives is one of the main activities of the employees of the internal affairs bodies involved in the service," the Ministry stressed.
