The prison terms for the "presidents" of the so-called organization created after the occupation of the Garabagh region and other sovereign territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a result of the military aggression of Armenia Arkady Gukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Arayik Harutyunyan, former "minister of foreign affairs" Davit Babayan, as well as "parliament chairman" David Ishkhanyan, generals, and others were extended, APA reports citing the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
The investigation is being conducted by a joint investigative group led by the Prosecutor General's Office, which includes professionals from the Military Prosecutor's Office, the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other investigative bodies. A total of 14 members of the separatist regime have been held accountable under various articles of the Criminal Code.
Based on the court's decision, the duration of the selected detention measures for the mentioned individuals has been extended.
