As a result of anti-smuggling measures implemented last month, contraband with a total value of 1 million 529 thousand 391 manats, including 1 automatic comb (with 23 cartridges), 2 pistol combs (with 75 cartridges), medicines and tobacco products were detained, the Press Center of the State Border Service released information in this regard, APA reports.
As a result of measures to combat the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, 74 kilograms 627 grams of narcotic drugs and 44,195 pills, which are considered to be powerful drugs containing narcotics, were detected and removed from circulation.
