In January-March of this year, 1,068 individuals were held criminally liable in connection with the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, APA reports citing permanently operating Working Group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.
Of them, 1 person was under 18 years old, 68 individuals were between the ages of 18-25, 175 individuals between 26-29, and 824 individuals were aged 30 and above. Among these persons, 1,034 were male and 34 were female.
Of those held criminally liable, 28 were foreign nationals.
Of the 28 foreign nationals held accountable, 13 were citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran, 5 of Russia, 4 of Georgia, 5 of Turkey, and 1 of Ukraine.
In total, 329 kg 497.152 g of various types of narcotic substances and psychotropic drugs were seized from the foreign nationals.
