In accordance with the requirements of the European Convention on Extradition dated December 13, 1957, the requests of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the extradition of Azerbaijani citizens Ramil Ramiz Mammadov and Elchin Bayram Tahmazov have been granted by the competent authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA.
It was noted that since reasonable suspicions that these individuals committed the crime of robbery in collusion, were determined by making decisions to involve them as accused persons they were declared internationally wanted since they fled and hid from investigation.
On June 12, Ramil Mammadov was brought to Azerbaijan accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
It was noted that necessary measures are being taken regarding the extradition of Elchin Tahmazov to our country.
