A man suspected of premeditated murder of five family members has been detained in Baku, the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.
Grounds for suspicion have been identified that on February 13, Ahmad Ahmadov, born in 1999, deliberately killed his parents and younger brother during a quarrel.
During the investigative measures carried out by the Khatai district prosecutor's office, it was established that Ahmad Ahmadov, before committing the specified criminal act, killed his sister Elmira Ahmadova (born 1997) and her young daughter at another address.
The preliminary investigation continues.

It became known about the murder of two more members of the family in which the murder took place in Baku, APA reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is reported that during the ongoing investigation, it was established that Ahmad Ahmadov, suspected of murdering his parents and brother in the Khatai district of the capital, had previously killed his sister Ahmadova Elmira Mehman gizi (born in 1997) and in the same way at a different address 5-year-old daughter.

The district prosecutor's office received information that on February 13, at approximately 16:00, 3 people were killed in the Khatai district of Baku.
During the investigation, grounds were identified for suspicion that Ahmad Ahmadov (born 1999), during a quarrel, killed his father Mehman Ahmadov (born 1972), his mother Bike Ahmadova (born 1977) and his younger brother, born in 2015.
Based on this fact, the Khatai District Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case under Articles 120.2.4 (premeditated murder with extreme cruelty) and 120.2.7 (murder of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code. By the decision of the prosecutor's office, Ahmad Ahmadov was detained as a suspect in the case.
