Konstantin Zatulin fulfills the political orders of his Armenian patrons living in the Russian Federation, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bullbuloglu said this in his address to State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin regarding Zatuli's provocative video appeal, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
The ambassador noted that Zatulin, in his provocative appeal, allegedly speaking on behalf of "caring people in Russia" and supporting the separatists, is inciting revanchist forces in Armenian society with imaginary hopes of reviving the conflict that has already ended.
"Moreover, in his speech, he refers to the former leaders of the separatist regime and other terrorists whose hands are stained with the blood of innocent Azerbaijanis. It seems that Zatulin, being a "persona non grata" in Armenia, continues to propagate expansionist views and narratives in Russian society, fulfills the political orders of his Armenian patrons living in the Russian Federation, and at the same time carries out provocative activities aimed at the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It aims to harm Azerbaijan-Russia relations. It is worrying that this is not the first such case - he has repeatedly made statements against the statehood and people of our country," Polad Bulbuloglu stressed.
The diplomat noted that against the background of strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, especially within the framework of President Vladimir Putin's state visit to Azerbaijan last month, the parties reaffirmed the high level of cooperation: "Also, the head of the Russian state declared that he is ready to contribute to the establishment of long-term peace, security and stability in the South Caucasus region."
