"If there is a problem from the Armenian side regarding the opening of the Zangazur Corridor, there is possibility of this route to pass through the Iranian territory. Azerbaijan is in contact with the Iranian side on this issue," Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said in an interview with Hürriyet newspaper, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He noted that there are two alternatives regarding the Zangazur Corridor and both of these alternatives are currently on the table.
Mr Uraloglu added that construction works are currently underway: "Currently, the Azerbaijani side continues construction. A tender was held for the works in Nakhchivan and on our side. 106 kilometers of road will be restored or reconstructed. As I said, both alternatives are on the table.".
