A press conference was held in Baku June 7 on the outcomes of the 3rd meeting of heads of anti-corruption organizations and ombudsmen of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states.
Addressing the press conference, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov noted that a relevant document on Pakistan’s joining the ECO Anti-Corruption Center was signed.
The prosecutor general praised the outcomes of the Baku meeting, calling for joint efforts within the ECO, which has gained reputation in the region and throughout the world, for sustainable development of member states.
He expressed confidence that the Baku event will bring the fight against corruption to a new level.
Later, a declaration on anti-corruption cooperation among ECO member states will be adopted.
