K. Heydarov stressed the importance of meetings held during his visit to Qatar in October 2014 and the agreement signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Qatar on the management of emergency situations, noting that there are broad prospects for cooperation between the relevant authorities of the two countries.
The Qatari delegation was thoroughly informed about the activity of Azerbaijan’s ministry of emergency situations and work done to prevent emergency situations and eliminate their consequences.
Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, in turn, thanked for the warm welcome, speaking of a wide potential for cooperation between Qatar and Azerbaijan, which has a strong economy.
The Qatari minister noted that mutual visits are of importance in terms of strengthening relations between the two countries’ relevant agencies.
The sides also exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest.
