Speaking to reporters in Baku, the ambassador said the removal of sanctions shows that the accusations against the people of Iran are unfair.
“Now the world has officially accepted Iran's right to produce nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. All this showed that it is not right to impose sanctions on any country for forcing it to do something,” said Pak Ayeen.
He added that Iran’s ties with the world have been normalized after the removal of sanctions and great opportunities opened up for Iran to expand its economic relations with the regional countries.
“We know the Azerbaijani people and state are pleased with the progress achieved in this issue,” said Pak Ayeen. “I personally thank the Azerbaijani officials for expressing happiness over the nuclear deal.”
“I see a proper perspective for bilateral relations between Iran and Azerbaijan,” the ambassador said, noting that the lifting of sanctions will lead to further enhancement of cooperation between the two countries.
