Ukraine is ready to become a major energy hub for Azerbaijan in Europe, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said, APA reports.
"Like the EU, we consider Azerbaijan to be a major contributor to Europe's energy security. We are ready to contribute to this thanks to our experience in the field of transit and our largest gas storage facilities in Europe. Ukraine is ready to become a major energy hub for Azerbaijan in Europe. Azerbaijan is an extremely important partner in strengthening Ukraine's sustainable development, primarily in the energy sector, as well as in achieving a fair and lasting peace. Azerbaijan is a strategic partner, and now is the time to give a new impetus to this partnership, especially at the highest political level. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also agreed on this in Davos."
