On the occasion of Türkiye's Victory Day, the Turkish Martyrdom Monument in Baku was visited, APA reports.
Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci, representatives of the embassy and a number of officials took part in the visit.
First, the souls of the martyrs were remembered with a moment of silence, and then the National Anthems of Azerbaijan and Türkiye were played.
Later, the Turkish Martyrdom and Alley of Martyrs were visited, a wreath was placed in front of the monument, and carnations were arranged.
Noted that the victory won in Dumlupınar on August 30, 1922 under the general command of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is celebrated as Victory Day in Türkiye.
