Georgia pursues a balanced policy that aims to restore stability and achieve long-term peace in the region despite the complex situation in the region, said Ilia Darchiashvili, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia as he delivered speech during the joint session of the European Integration and Foreign Relations committees of Georgian parliament, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.
Darchiashvili noted that Georgia has repeatedly contributed to the to effective communication between Azerbaijan and Armenia by starting initiative of peaceful neighborhood.
“We are ready to continue our participation in this direction in accordance with the needs of neighboring countries. We want Tbilisi to be a venue where we can discuss any topic that will contribute to the restoration of trust between our neighbors in the future as well,” Darchiashvili added.
