Slovenia's FM visits Alley of Martyrs and monument to Mehdi Huseynzade in Baku

Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs and the monument of Soviet Union Hero Mehdi Hüseynzadeh on April 17, APA reports.

Tanja Fajon first paid tribute to the memory of the heroic sons of the homeland who lost their lives in the struggle for Azerbaijan's independence and territorial integrity, and placed a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.

Later, the guest honoring the memory of Soviet Union Hero Mehdi Huseynzadeh, who demonstrated heroism in the fight against fascism during World War II, laid a bouquet of flowers at his monument.
