"The trilateral cooperation format between Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan was established at the right time and holds great significance," Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said during the trilateral summit of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan in Lachin, APA reports.
He noted that all three countries reject conflicts and act together in response to the challenges of the modern world: “In today’s world, there are serious challenges—armed conflicts, climate change, diseases, and economic crises. That is why our three countries have come together to reject conflict and choose compassion. We are confident that patience and wisdom will ultimately prevail and ensure prosperity. In today’s turbulent world, political and security architectures, connectivity projects, and leading technologies are shaping new realities. In such a context, Pakistan is fortunate to have sincere brothers like Türkiye and Azerbaijan. You have stood by us like an unshakable rock, and we trust you without hesitation. As allied brothers, we will always prioritize peace, justice, and moral values. I am confident that our time-tested relations will serve the interests of our peoples and contribute to peace and prosperity in the region and beyond. This trilateral format was not only timely but also of critical importance. It places upon us a necessary political responsibility and gives momentum to jointly advance in areas of mutual interest.”
