“Documents will be signed between Azerbaijan and Russia,” said President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin during an expanded format meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
He said that the Russian government was almost fully represented at the expanded format meeting.
Putin emphasized that the meeting of the intergovernmental commission was held in Baku 10 days ago, and the commission noted the development of relations between the two states and the full implementation of the agreements reached.
“Such extensive work allows us to determine our steps in the near perspective and the future. We managed to discuss a number of priority issues in a limited-format meeting. We still need to sign the relevant documents. Our counterparts, as well as we, had the opportunity to talk yesterday in an informal setting. Today, they will be able to talk among themselves and determine steps in the near perspective," Putin said.
