The current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia has not gone unnoticed, said President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin during a press statements on the conclusion of the negotiations with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
He underlined that Russia will provide all possible assistance to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the conclusion of a peace treaty based on known tripartite agreements.
"We are also ready to help unblock cross-border routes, establish humanitarian contacts, and delimition and demarcation of the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia. I mean we have relevant documents from the Soviet era. We take the position that lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus meets the fundamental interests of all states and peoples of this region," Putin said.
