"Russia will contribute in every way to achieving peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, this is stated in the document signed by Moscow," the Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said during a traditional briefing held for media, APA reports.
She also added that it is important for the extent and forms of this support to be acceptable for all parties.
“We are ready to offer our platform for bilateral negotiations in a format deemed acceptable by the parties in the future as well. We consider the conclusion of a balanced agreement between our two allies to be the basis for peace. And this peace should be established by the countries of the region, not by outsiders," she said.
