On June 5-6, a regional meeting of Russian ambassadors to Western and Northern European countries was held in Baku with the participation of Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko, APA's Moscow correspondent reports citing Russian Foreign Ministry.
It was noted that the meeting analyzed in detail the situation in the European region, the state of bilateral relations with European countries in the context of modern challenges and threats, as well as the hybrid war waged against Russia. Recommendations for the future were formulated on a wide range of issues discussed.
The meeting discussed in detail the activities of the Russian foreign missions represented, including their personnel and material and technical support.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation A. Grushko, as part of his visit to Baku, and the heads of Russian diplomatic missions abroad. During the conversation, a number of international and regional problems were discussed.
The Russian diplomats met with the Archimandrite Alexy (Smirnov), the Bishop of Baku and Azerbaijan at the Church of the Ascension of the Lord.
