Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met Wednesday with Vadim Sinyavsky, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the high level Azerbaijan-Belarus intergovernmental relations. They highlighted the key role of the heads of state in ensuring dynamic development in all aspects of bilateral cooperation.
Noting the long-term partnership relations established between the Ministries of Emergency Situations of the two countries in the field of prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations, the parties underlined that the both ministries are actively involved in the exchange of experience and personnel training.
The sides also stressed the importance of signing the "Comprehensive Plan of Actions for 2025-2027 on the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus” signed on October 17, 2006 in Minsk.
The discussions focused on potential ways to enhance Azerbaijan-Belarus collaboration in the field of emergency prevention and response.
The sides also exchanged views on the supply of firefighting equipment.
