"Economic problems manifest themselves among all religious communities. Solving them will contribute to the increase of religious literacy," said Cole Durham, President of the International Center for Law and Religion Studies, at the international conference "Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias and Shattering Stigmas" held in Baku, APA reports.
He called on the global community to take effective measures in the fight against Islamophobia: “Emphasizing jointly recognized problems is very important in the fight against Islamophobia. The second key issue to focus on is financial problems. More effective measures should be taken against Islamophobia, and the fight against it should be made more efficient. We need to work more effectively on priority issues. Let us be active in addressing the main problems and in the fight against all phobias, and let us not withhold our initiatives.”
