The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republics of Poland, Czechia and Ireland called the joint statement of Azerbaijan and Armenia an important step towards peace, the Polish Ministry noted in this regard on X, APA reports.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland welcomes the joint statement of Azerbaijan and Armenia on the mutual release of detained Armenian and Azerbaijani soldiers and other confidence-building measures. This is an important step towards reaching a peace agreement," the Ministry noted.
"We welcome the joint Azerbaijan-Armenia statement of December 7 representing an important step in the right direction. We are confident that this positive trend will continue," the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on X.
Irish Department of Foreign Affairs also said that Ireland welcomes this joint Azerbaijan-Armenia statement and release of prisoners as a positive step towards normalisation.
