"The people of Azerbaijan fought a very serious struggle for their freedom and today hold a strong position on the international stage," Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said during the trilateral summit of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan in Lachin, APA reports.
"Seeing the flags of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Pakistan flying in beautiful Lachin fills our hearts with immense joy and pride. We met in a trilateral format last year in Astana and held very productive discussions on issues of mutual interest. Today, in magnificent Lachin, we are determined to elevate our trilateral partnership to a new level in line with the will of our peoples. This aspiration should not surprise anyone, because Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan are bound by deep historical, cultural, and spiritual ties, formed over centuries, and rooted in shared values and mutual support. My dear brothers, in recent times, these historical relations have been further strengthened by our solidarity in Karabakh, Kashmir, and Northern Cyprus. Our strength lies in our unity and mutual respect,” said Shehbaz Sharif.
