“India continues its attempts to escalate tensions in the region. The Indian army is targeting civilian areas in Pakistan,” Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Qasim Mohiuddin, said during a press conference, APA reports.
“As a result of India’s attacks on our country, there have been casualties and injuries among our people. India has unilaterally closed the borders in violation of the mutual travel regulations with Pakistan. At present, India’s efforts to escalate tensions in the region are ongoing. The Indian army is striking civilian targets in Pakistan. Thanks to the measures taken by our military, a number of targets have been hit and enemy drones have been neutralized. It seems that the opposing side does not intend to de-escalate. This morning, India continued its drone attacks and conducted fighter jet flights near our borders,” the ambassador said.
The diplomat emphasized that after the events, official Islamabad proposed an impartial international investigation.
