"At the initiative of the Turkish side, it is planned to implement joint activities in the field of social services transformation among member states in 2026," said Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev at the 2nd Meeting of Ministers and Heads of Institutions responsible for Family Affairs and Social Policy of the Organization of Turkic States, APA reports
He noted that previously, the first meeting held in Istanbul in 2024 created an opportunity to discuss a common stance and joint plans among the member states of the Organization of Turkic States in the framework of protecting the family institution and women's rights:
"Based on the instructions of the heads of state of the member countries of the OTS, we will continue cooperation in supporting common views in the field of protecting the family institution, just as we do in many other areas. We believe that with the growth of our countries' economic capabilities, activities toward implementing joint programs for the protection of the family institution in Turkic-speaking countries will become more active. For this reason, as the Organization of Turkic States, we will spare no effort to ensure continuity of cooperation across various sectors based on the documents adopted so far."
