OTS Council of Elders to convene in Nicosia on May 1–2

A meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held in Nicosia, the OTS released information in this regard, APA reports.

The statement says that the 17th meeting of the Council of Elders will take place on May 1–2 in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

According to "Turkiyegazetesi", the main topic on the agenda will be the diplomatic missions opened by Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan in Southern Cyprus.

Note that Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan appointed ambassadors to Southern Cyprus at the end of last year.
