"The necessary procedures for the execution of the verdict must be completed within Iran’s judiciary. This matter is regulated based on a specific complaint," the head of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) under Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister, Saeed Khatibzadeh told journalists in Baku, APA reports.
"The attack on Azerbaijan’s Embassy was a painful incident. Following this event, a very extensive investigation was conducted by both the police and the judiciary. This was an incident that left a bitter taste for both nations. Although it was a painful event, it brought the peoples of both countries closer together. Both sides have taken initiatives to revitalize relations. The necessary procedures for the execution of the verdict must be completed within Iran’s judiciary. This matter is regulated based on a specific complaint, and Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Iran is following up on the issue. I am confident that justice will prevail and the verdict will be executed."
