Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry condemns terrorist attacks in Algeria

Baku. Victoria Dementeva – APA. Azerbaijan strongly condemns terrorist attacks in south Algeria, spokesman for the Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elman Abdullayev told APA.

“We are deeply saddened to learn about casualties and offer our sincere condolences to the families of victims and share the grief of those affected by the attacks. As a country that has been victim of terrorism Azerbaijan has always been at the forefront of international efforts to tackle terrorism. Azerbaijan strongly condemns all forms and manifestation of terrorism.”

Recall that on January 16, an operation was held to release the hostages taken by terrorists in south Algeria, as a result of this, 38 persons were killed and 37 of them are foreigners. 5 persons are considered as missing.
