Batumi. Nizami Mammadzadeh – APA. “There are a lot of businessmen in Azerbaijan and Georgia. At today’s meeting, the ministers discussed not only economic issues, but also cooperation in cultural sphere and other urgent issues,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu at the press conference with the Azerbaijani and Georgian foreign ministers in Batumi, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

The minister said that Baku-Tbilisi-Ankara project will be implemented in the near future with the participation of the three countries: “A lot of joint projects are expected in the future, we will successfully implement all of them. We are fraternal, friendly and partner countries.”

It was underlined that Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project was successfully completed, the issue was discussed during Erdogan-Ivanishvili meeting in Ankara. It was noted that Baku-Tbilisi-Kars will be completed by the end of the year and the first train will move in this direction at the end of the year.

Views on visa facilitation between Azerbaijan and Turkey were expressed at the press conference. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said the activities are being carried out, travel will be facilitated between the countries.
