On September 2, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, MFA told APA.
According to the information, the initial one-on-one meeting between the two ministers was followed by an expanded meeting with delegations from both sides.
Various aspects of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia, including political, economic, trade, investment, energy, transport and communications, humanitarian issues, as well as regional and international security matters were discussed during the meeting.
During the meeting, discussions also covered other matters of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ADA University and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
Subsequently, the ministers made a statement at the press conference on the results of the meeting and answered the questions of media representatives.
