"Energy Center to be established in Khankendi will enhance regional cooperation in the energy sector," said Rovshan Mirzayev, Deputy Head of the Economic Cooperation Department at Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during an event titled “Azerbaijan and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO): Opportunities and Prospectives”, APA reports.
“Final legal procedures are currently underway for the establishemt of this regional center. It will operate under the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO),” the MFA official noted.
