The objective of the colonial states under French rule is to become subjects of international law, human rights activist Abdarahman Vaughn from Mauritania said this at the conference on "French Neocolonialism Policy in Africa" organized by the Baku Initiative Group, APA reports.

He said that one of his main demands is the freedom of the peoples living in the colonial territories and an end to discrimination against them: "The purpose of holding such events is to bring our voice to the attention of people living in different geographies and international organizations. Currently, we are trying to maintain relations with representatives of minority peoples living in Asia or America. I would like all the colonial peoples to fight together against the injustice against us. I myself believe that today's conference will be successful and achieve its goal."
