“We support and appreciate Your country's efforts to achieve peace with Armenia,” President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda said in a letter of congratulations that he adressed to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
“I welcome the recent agreement with Armenia on border delimitation, which provides a historic opportunity to agree on a lasting peace in the region. I would like to reiterate Lithuania's readiness to contribute to confidence building in the South Caucasus. I am convinced that dialogue and negotiations are the only way to reach a sustainable consensus," - the head of state of Lithuania emphasized.
