Note that the event, which began on April 28 in Baku, brings together nearly 80% of the world’s population as well as prominent NGO leaders and civil society representatives from 116 countries.

The conference is considered a landmark event in the life of civil society in the Global South, covering the regions of Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Oceania — representing two-thirds of the world’s countries.
