"The Tehran Dialogue Forum is a very important platform where regional and global issues are discussed," said Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, APA reports citing Tasnim.
He stated that Azerbaijan, as a friend, brother, and neighbor of Iran, was invited to the event with its delegation: "Within the framework of the event, we participated in both bilateral and general panel discussions. These discussions have given a new breath and new impetus to Iran-Azerbaijan relations. The task ahead of us with our Iranian colleagues is to further advance the existing relations. Within the framework of the Tehran Dialogue Forum held in Iran, we will not only discuss issues among regional and neighboring countries, but also once again discuss the prospects for the development of our relations based on the friendship and brotherhood between Iran and Azerbaijan."
